bowling with small children: what we learned on this family outing

1. It's highly likely the youngest bowler will finish the day with the highest score. Ours did (Levi wasn't an active participant, just part of the cheer squad).




2. There's plenty of action going on in a bowling alley to keep an 8-month-old entertained for an hour without the assistance toys, snacks, or milk.


3. The fan at the end of the ball return is super fun (but make sure no little fingers get pinched by balls).


4. Children's size 8 bowling shoes that velcro (so did the adult shoes!) are just about the cutest thing ever.

That's a great place, Jenna. Larry and I had the two youngest grandkids there not long ago. Matt and Jenny live in that neighborhood right across the street from there.
