angel kiss

Some of you may have never noticed the faint birthmark Levi has on his forehead. Unless you're looking for it and the lighting is just right it can be very difficult to see. 

Birthmarks such as these are known as angel kisses. And I am very sorry to say that it will likely fade to nothing by the time he turns a year old.

I've used it as a sort of landing spot for my own lips. I wouldn't be surprised if my own numerous kisses help make his angel kiss fade even faster.

I can't lie. I'll be sad when it's gone, though I'm sure it is something he will be glad to no longer have when he's a teenager.

But at least I can forever remember that my sweet boy was given to me freshly kissed by an angel.
