practice makes perfect

Camille is saying more and more words every single day. Lately her favorite word has been bubble. That's no surpise, because Camille had developed quite a fondness for blowing bubbles. At times it seems like every waking moment she is asking to blow bubbles. And when we're ignoring her, she walks around the house "signing" bubbles. Like this...

So when we got home today I opened the kitchen cabinet, pulled out the spill-proof bubbles, and took Camille out to the front yard.

She knew just what to do!

Upon further examination of these photos, you may notice that you don't see any actual bubbles. This small little fact is clearly of no concern to our sweet Camille. She seems to be taking the practice makes perfect approach, and I'm sure will be thrilled when (one day) all her efforts produce as many bubbles as her dear heart desires.

And, don't you think she looks a bit like her cousin Adeline in the first and third fotos?

So adorable- that's awesome that she knew exactly what to do with the bubbles! Blowing bubbles with toddlers is one of my favorite things, hands down!
