off the chart

(I know, I've recently failed at my goal of at least one blog post per week. But I've honestly been left so uninspired since my camera has been away hopefully being fixed.)

Levi's four month well-baby check-up was this morning. We didn't see his usual pediatrician. We would have except I am very unorganized and forgot to schedule an appointment with her. When I finally asked Aaron to schedule one she was already booked through the end of the month.

So we saw Dr. C. And I really liked him!

Anyway. Levi was weighed and measured today.

And, as I suspected, he is finally off the chart. Not off the charts yet, but off one chart.

His head is 43.5 centemeters, which is in the 80th percentile.

He weighs 18 pounds 2 ounces, which is in the 95th percentile.

And he is 28 inches long, which is well above the height chart for boys his age.

And if they took measurements and charted foot growth, well...I think we can safely say he'd be off that chart too!

He may officially be huge (though not overweight, as Dr. C assured me), but he's definitely a gentle giant. Levi is the cuddliest, snuggliest four month old I have every known. And I've been blessed to share some very early morning snuggles with my chubby guy these past few days. I wouldn't trade those for anything!

Just love reading your blog. You do an excellent job of writing and take great photos. What a blessing your two little ones are and what a joy it is to see you and Aaron enjoying life with them.
