Happy Halloween!
Camille and I surprised Aaron today by meeting him at work for his lunch break. Of course, being Halloween, Camille had to wear her ballerina costume. And of course Aaron had to wear a toga costume to work. They were quite the pair walking the halls of Park Nicollet together, not to mention lunch at McDonalds.
We have no big plans for the evening. Camille will probably be in bed by 7 as usual, and Aaron and I will probably go downstairs and watch a movie so nobody rings the doorbell, thus waking Camille.
Wishing everyone a happy and safe Halloween. Don't eat too many sweets! Oh ok, go ahead and eat them....

It's Snowing! (aka, the saddest day of the year)
Well it's officially winter in Minnesota...it's been snowing since 10 this morning. Nothing is sticking, of course, but it's certainly blowing around out there! Oh the woes of living in the frigid tundra of MN.
On a brighter note, Camille has been learning tons of new things these past few days. She started eating finger foods last week and has worked her way up to Goldfish, dry cereal, crackers, and whatever else she can get her hands on. She is also creeping on the floor (not quite crawling yet, but defintely moving forward) in pursuit of whatever happens to be the toy of the hour (sometimes a Tupperware cup, other times a block). Right now her favorite thing to do is pull toys out of a basket.
We also noticed today that Camille has learned how to wave. Try as we might, though, we were unable to get a video clip of it. We'll keep trying and hopefully get one up here this week. She certainly seems to be growing up by the minute. We put her down for a nap and when she gets up she seems so much older. Why can't she stay a little girl forever?
On Thursday Megan visited us at Isabel's house. The girls had a great time crawling all over her, and Ginger was thrilled to find a kindred spirit. Megan and I brought Camille and Isabel out to lunch with us at Leann Chin. Of course Camille managed to grab a chunk of sesame chicken and get it to her mouth, but she didn't seem to mind that it was spicy!
Well that's all I've got for now. For some reason our camera seems to be taking blueish pictures, so I'm going to try to figure out what's up with that and take some more pics this week. Stay warm and have a wonderful week! Blessings!

Leaves, Leaves, LEAVES! Yummmmmm!
These are some pictures from Sunday evening. Who'd have thought we'd be enjoying 70 degree weather in the middle of October? It was so nice outside so I wanted to try to get some pictures of Camille with the fall leaves. Needless to say, she tried to eat them. What did I expect? She tries to eat everything!

MN Landscape Arboretum
I always forget how much I love fall in Minnesota! We spent a few hours today at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Fall colors are peaking in the area right now and the whole park was absolutely beautiful. Camille had a great time both in and out of the stroller, trying to eat leaves, grabbing at roses, and just generally enjoying herself. The amazing thing, though, is that it's mid-way through October and it got up to 75 degrees today! It was the perfect day for a stroll.
But alas, the weekend is just about over and Monday looms just around the corner. It should be a good week, though, I think. Camille's on meds for her very first ear infection and is already feeling better. And I hear Isabel is feeling better as well. I'm looking forward to happy healthy babies this week!

Here are some pictures I just took of Camille while we were out on the deck. Please, no comments about her outfit :)

We really had a nice weekend and were able to relax quite a bit. We spent Friday evening at Christenson's hanging out with Kristy and Luke and letting the girls have some extra playtime. Then on Saturday we ran some errands, visited with David and Jeannie for a bit, and went to church. Ok, so we didn't relax very much, but it was still a nice weekend. But alas, tomorrow is Monday. I've spent the evening making baby food and washing diapers and am updating the blog during commercials as we watch Brothers and Sisters. I can't wait till 10 pm when I can crawl into bed and hope that Camille doesn't wake up until 6:30 and that the cats don't start meowing for food at 3 am. Ugh!
