We finally finished decorating Camille's bedroom! The walls have been bare and it was driving me nuts, so we went and bought a few canvases and paited flowers on them - who'd have thought we were such great artists!? We also took a picture from my parents' house that hung in my bedroom when I was a little girl.
We had another nice, but busy, weekend. We had an appointment to have Camille’s three month pictures taken at J.C. Penney on Saturday morning, but when we got there she was tired, hungry, and cranky, so we really only got one good shot. We decided to schedule another picture appointment for Sunday afternoon in hopes that she would be in better spirits. Sunday rolled around and she was certainly much happier, although we were still unable to get her to smile for the camera! But we’re still excited to get the pictures back in two weeks! Let me know if you’d like one – there will be plenty to go around.
There was also a voter’s meeting at Church on Sunday. Aaron was voted to be an elder for a second term (two years) and was very excited about that. He’s really been enjoying having a role in some of the decision-making at church, getting to know the members better, and just being his regular “people-person” self that we all know him to be! I’m so proud of him and all he’s done to get involved at church (eldering, playing drums, volleyball some Thursday nights) and love watching him become the leader he’s been created to be. I know God’s going to do some amazing things through him!
And just a little update on my job situation: I think I’ve found a nannying job that will be part time this summer and full time starting in August. We’re still working out the details, but I’ll be sure to post an update on the situation once I have a better idea of what’s going to happen.
Blessings to you all! I hope you have a wonderful week!
