future "cousins"

Camille had a great time getting to know her future "cousins" when she and I visited Megan in Tijuana recently. Levi and Aaron stayed home, so Camille basked in the attention the youngest always received. And I think Edgar, Brayan, and Pricila had a pretty good time with her as well.

We learned from this visit that a common spoken language means very little when it comes to children playing together. Camille continually chattered away to them in English, and though the others speak only Spanish, they seemed to have no trouble understanding her, or she them.

We're looking forward to welcoming Armando and his children into our "family" when he and Megan get married, and to the many years of memory-making ahead of us!
