beat the heat

100 degrees with humidity is oppressive. 

But when you're stuck inside with three rugrats angelic children for more than a day, well, let's just say that can be pretty oppressive too.

So when the boys woke up from their nap this morning I dressed all three kids in protective sunwear, slathered sunscreen on exposed skin, and shooed them out the deck door.

Baby pool? Nah!

I put a little water in a storage bin and a bucket, dumped in some bath toys, and let the kids go to town.

Even when it's this hot out, kids + water + shade + toys = FUN!

I'm proud to say we beat the heat.
