random pregnancy-related thought #2

It's no fun being woken up in the wee hours of the morning to searing pain going down your calf muscle as it siezes up. Neither does Aaron enjoy being woken out of a deep sleep to me frantically saying, "MY LEG! MY LEG!"

Oh, leg cramps are the worst! You need to stretch your calf muscles by flexing your foot up, toes pointed upwards. It give blessed, instant relief.
To prevent future episodes, avoid pointing your toes at all times, especially in bed, when you should keep your foot at 90 degrees or less to your leg.
